Animal Control Officer
Accountability: Reports directly to the Chief of Police

On-call 24/7 (average 20 calls annually)
What You'll Do:
- Respond to dispatched calls for service involving animal-related complaints.
- Investigate reports of stray, vicious, diseased, or injured animals.
- Safely capture, transport, and care for animals in compliance with laws and humane practices.
- Remove and properly dispose of deceased animals from town roadways.
- Enforce animal control laws and prepare necessary reports and documentation.
- Assist with rabies testing procedures, licensing enforcement, and delivery of court paperwork.
Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, care, and humane capture techniques.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must complete required training within 6 months of hire.
- Work closely with NH State Police and NH Fish and Game

Office Clerk

What You'll Do:
Organize, maintain, and secure both physical and digital records, including sorting, filing, and retrieving documents according to NH RSAs. Ensure records are accurate and accessible, often performing duties such as scanning paper documents, creating digital files, updating records, and sometimes handling related administrative tasks like answering phones. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Deputy Tax Collector
Accountability: Reports directly to the Tax Collector
Affiliation: Board of Selectmen
Part-time – Thursday’s 2:00PM-6:00PM plus hours during bi-annual tax billing and collection
What You'll Do:
Assist the Tax Collector with collecting various taxes, processing payments, and maintaining tax records.
Responsibilities include handling tax-related inquiries, processing payments and deposits, sending delinquent notices, and stepping in to perform the Tax Collector's duties in their absence.
