Piermont School Board Notice
Piermont voters,
This November you will see a new question related to school funding on the general election ballot. Voters will be asked to consider adopting a limit to the amount of funding for the Piermont School District which can be raised by local tax dollars, as well as a fixed budget cap on shared SAU 23 administrative costs.
The Piermont School Board is hosting a public information session on Tuesday, October 20th from 6:30-7pm at the Piermont Village School.
We urge you to join us for this important opportunity to learn more and to ask your questions. The board will clarify the language, logistics and requirements to pass/fail of RSA32:5-i/HB1300, and share potential implications to the education of Piermont students (grades pre-K-12) if adopted.
To learn more about the role of the SAU in supporting student success and increasing administrative efficiencies across multiple school districts, including Piermont, we encourage you to watch this video (also posted on the SAU website).
Sincerely,
Piermont School Board
