Health Officer

The Piermont Health Officer enforces the New Hampshire public health laws together with any local ordinances and regulations in accordance with RSA 128:5. They also serve as the liaison between state officials and the local community on issues concerning local public health.

The Health Officer is State-appointed upon the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen and works closely with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services.
