Please bring a luncheon sandwich, drink (unless you want cider or hot chocolate), an additional quiz which can be of interest. After lunch will be reading an historical drama, (everyone gets a part), from the collection of Cavalcade of America, a radio program from 1935 to 1952. The play features the story of Elizabeth Blackwell the first woman physician born in February 1881. Please RSVP to 272-4953 to let us know you are coming.

This event will also be held on March 9 and March 23.

The gym at Piermont Village School, 131 Route 10, is open on Sundays, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for Pickleball starting January 8, 2022- equipment provided. Contact richard.hambrick@gmail.com with any questions.

Piermont residents have access to Indian Pond, located on Indian Pond Road, for swimming and other water activities.

Lake Tarleton State Park, located at 949 Route 25C, features a swimming beach and opportunities for hiking, fishing, and other nature activities.

For hiking, Peaked Mountain, accessible from Bedford Road off Route 10, is a visual highlight of the Piermont village. Piermont Mountain is another excellent trail with stunning views; it is accessible off Cape Moonshine Road near Route 25C with parking at Camp Walt Whitman.

For fishing, there are numerous brooks, streams, and other waterways with ample opportunities.
