Piermont residents have access to Indian Pond, located on Indian Pond Road, for swimming and other water activities. Residents must have a pass to access the beach, please contact info@townofpiermontnh.org to get a pass, or see the Town Clerk.

Lake Tarleton State Park, located at 949 Route 25C, features a swimming beach and opportunities for hiking, fishing, and other nature activities.

Bean Brook Puddle: Opens July 1st for swimming, please sign up for alerts on the main home page for updates and closures.

For hiking: Peaked Mountain, accessible from Bedford Road off Route 10, is a visual highlight of the Piermont village. Piermont Mountain is another excellent trail with stunning views; it is accessible off Cape Moonshine Road near Route 25C with parking at Camp Walt Whitman.

For fishing: there are numerous brooks, streams, and other waterways with ample opportunities.
